We all aspire. How can we inspire ourselves and make change happen?
1. Involve all your senses
Ask yourself, what involves my emotions, makes me laugh, makes me smile, makes me celebrate victories? Now use your touch, sound, sight, even smell and taste to visualise it.
2. Take on different perspectives
Has anyone ever said to you, ‘that is so easy for you!’ and you know how hard it really is. Start seeing yourself from the perspective of a friend, then a stranger looking in at your life and then someone in a crowd – let them all look upon yourself succeeding in your dream.
3. Begin to live as if you have succeeded in your goal
Surround yourself with the people who have similar values, beliefs and goals as you. To them you are person you want to be.
4. Talk yourself up
It’s OK to use affirmations and positive self-talk. It’s going to help you dream. It’s going to help get you through the doubt and the fear.
5. Vision Boards
By having positive images near you where you can view them everyday, you can set your intention to make that image a reality.
